When installing the inlet hose:
- Use the standard 3/4-inch threaded connection whenever possible.
- If your plumbing uses a 1/2-inch fitting, install the correct adapter together with its sealing washer.
- Hand-tighten the hose instead of using pliers or pipe wrenches.
- Open the water supply slowly and inspect all fittings for leaks.
