1. Definitions
For clarity, the following terms are defined:
- “Company,” “We,” “Us,” “Our” refers to Express Repair LLC
- “Client,” “You,” “Your” refers to the person or entity requesting service
- “Service Commencement” means the date we order parts or begin on-site work
- “Appliance” means any household appliance requiring repair or installation
2. Scope of Services
Express Repair LLC provides professional appliance repair services including:
- Diagnostic assessments
- Repair and replacement of parts
- Installation services
- Maintenance recommendations
All services are performed by qualified technicians in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
3. Parts and Materials
We use high-quality parts to ensure reliable repairs:
- Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts when available
- Certified aftermarket parts of equivalent or superior quality when OEM parts are unavailable
All parts are subject to availability. We will inform you of the specific parts being used for your repair.
4. Service Timeline
Standard Repairs: For in-stock parts, repairs will typically be completed within 7-14 business days from the date of:
- Acceptance of this agreement, AND
- Receipt of the required deposit (if applicable)
5. Pricing and Payment
Diagnostic Fee: starts from $99 + applicable NYC sales tax per appliance (non-refundable)
Repair Costs: All repair pricing will be provided and approved by you before work begins.
Payment Terms:
- Payment is due upon completion of service or as stated on your invoice
- Accepted payment methods: Cash, Check, Credit/Debit Card, Zelle
- Credit Card Payments: A 2.4% convenience fee will be added to the total
- Zelle payments must be sent to: zelle@expressrepairny.com
6. Appointment Scheduling and Cancellations
Scheduling: Appointments are scheduled based on technician availability and service area.
Cancellation Policy: To cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must contact us at 1 (866) 677-5755 and speak with a live representative at least 3 hours before your scheduled appointment time starts.
7. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Non-Refundable Items:
- Diagnostic service call fees
- Labor costs for completed work
- Parts that have been installed
- Non-returnable parts that have been ordered on your behalf
Parts Cancellation: Once parts are ordered, cancellations may only be approved by management and will be subject to a 30% restocking fee. Non-returnable parts cannot be cancelled or refunded once ordered with your approval.
8. Warranty Coverage
Express Repair LLC provides a warranty on parts and labor as specified on your service invoice.
Warranty Terms:
- Covers only the specific parts replaced or repaired by Express Repair LLC
- Duration is stated clearly on your service invoice
- Non-transferable to subsequent owners or third parties
- Does not cover damage from misuse, neglect, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear
To make a warranty claim, contact us at 1 (866) 677-5755 with your invoice number.
9. Additional Service Fees
Second Technician: Some repairs require two technicians for safety or equipment requirements. When necessary, a second technician fee of $99 + tax will apply. You will be notified in advance if this is required.
After-Hours/Emergency Service: Additional fees may apply for service requested outside normal business hours.
10. Property Access and Protection
Access Requirements: You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance requiring service, including adequate workspace and lighting.
Moving Appliances: Some repairs require moving or repositioning appliances. While we take reasonable care to protect your property:
- Pre-existing damage to floors, walls, or surrounding areas should be noted before work begins
- We will use protective materials when moving appliances
- You acknowledge that some risk of incidental contact with surfaces may occur during necessary appliance movement
Please inform our technician of any concerns about flooring or property conditions before work begins.
11. Limitation of Liability
Express Repair LLC’s liability is limited to the cost of the repair service provided. We are not liable for:
- Consequential or indirect damages
- Pre-existing defects or damage not caused by our service
- Issues arising from improper use or maintenance after our service
- Delays due to parts availability or circumstances beyond our control
12. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure successful service completion, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the appliance and its issues
- Ensure someone 18 years or older is present during service
- Clear the work area of personal items and provide access to utilities
- Notify us of any safety hazards or property concerns before service begins
- Review and approve all quoted prices before authorizing work
13. Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns about our service, please contact us immediately at 1 (866) 677-5755. We are committed to resolving issues promptly and professionally.
For disputes that cannot be resolved directly, both parties agree to pursue mediation before litigation, in accordance with New York State law.
14. Agreement Modifications
Express Repair LLC reserves the right to update these terms and conditions. Current terms are always available upon request and will be provided with each service agreement.
